Does a good job. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We changed from a brand new "front load" (which was doing a poor job) to a brand new 'top load'. You can't beat a top load. The one we bought is doing a good job but it has some minor short comings. The cycle readings are missing terms that would be helpful to us such as: permanent press, bulky/large, towels. One of the indicators says "cold wash" which is duplicated in the "temp.wash" list. At one time the machine lighted up with a warning sign. We looked it up in the instructions and nothing of the sort was in the inst. booklet.

Quiet, great clean [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace a wonderful 20 year old washing machine made by another brand. I love the whirlpool. It fits in the same place as my previous washer but is so much larger inside and my clothes have been coming out super clean and fresh. The washer also runs very quietly, which is great because our house is open concept. I would highly recommend this washing machine.
