Mich quieter than our last dishwasher! We have had this dishwasher about a year. The big selling point fore was reduced noise (our previous whirlpool dishwasher lasted 20 years!) and I have been very happy with that feature. The only major downside I have seen is that the liquid detergent leaks onto the silverware and doesn't wash off. We probably are loading the silverware basket too full, though. Also, oroginally, I wasn't a fan of not having fold up and down plate/pot holders on the bottom. But there are wider edges that fit our saute pans, and I found I like it better than the fold up and down style - I can fit more. I hope this helps! I, personally, would only ever buy a whirlpool dishwasher - they have been very reliable for us. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
