Good with some exceptions First a warning: If you have any doubt about how useful the built-in sink for you might be consider buying the washer that doesn't have it. I regret I bought this one with the little plastic sink in the top. The washer works well and it does the job - that is what makes it worth the 4 star rating. That sink is annoying (one reason I didn't give it 5 stars) and I banged my head on it more than once. This machine supposedly figures out on its own how much water to fill - there is no dial where you can select the amount of water or fill level. That doesn't work too well (throw in a couple of shirts and it fills half but when you have it filled with bed sheets it notoriously misses water) - This is the other reason I didn't give it 5 stars. The steam sanitizer cycle works great - it just takes some time (it is not just steam though).

Great washer with some design issues PROS: Extra deep bin for large loads. Quiet. Easy to program and set a wash. (My old GE was not nearly as intuitive). I got it in black and it's very pretty. CONS: The active wash tray is big and bulky and I hit my head on it when I have to reach in to empty my clean clothes. Also tricky to load your detergent because the plastic active wash tray hinders access to the detergent/fabric softener tray. Why can't the clip hinges be easy to undo so you can remove the plastic active wash tray when not needed? Hello! This would be an easy design fix. Because the bin is so deep, you may need a stool to reach the bottom. Also - pay attention to the height of this machine. I did not - and now the top lid bangs my cabinet above (where I keep my supplies) every time I open it. You will need 60" of clearance. I'm so worried I'm going to crack the glass top! OK, I'm heading to my laundry room to try (once more) to get that pesky active wash tray off...if you have had success doing so, please let me know. The left hinge simply won't budge.

Love this washer! Highly recommend this washer. The craze is all about front loaders, but if you've owned one you know that mold, mildew, ring issues, and items getting stuck in the ring are all an issue. Not with this one! I love the hand washing basket, but haven't had the time to see if it is detachable. It somewhat gets in the way when you're trying to do the detergent and fabric softener. Just like the dryer, make sure you pick up the steam hose that goes with it or you won't be able to utilize the steam functions. Other than that, I LOVE this washer. I feel like my clothes really get clean and the multitude of functions are great. I love that I can wash bulky bedding.

Great washer from delicates to bedding. This washer has everything you might need. It was important to me, that I could wash my KS comforters and feel confident they were clean and rinsed well. Prewash faucet and option of using less water or a tub full of water is great. It's not a problem, but most people will need a stool or a grab-it, to get to the bottom of washer. So far, so great.

LOVE this washing machine! Bought this with my Samsung Dryer (as a set) during a sale. Great value and amazing washer. I love how much stuff I can fit in this washer - and would always now recommend going for the bigger size washer, it just is so easy! Due to its large size, it is hard to get to the bottom of the washer to grab items if you are short - I have to stand on my tip toes to get to the bottom - but a stool would be beneficial too :) Many great functions, and straight forward to use. Laundry always smells amazing after this washer runs a cycle - and my whole house does, frankly. This washer makes a noise when done washing, but you can shut this off at your discretion - sometimes it is nice to know when to move a load over. Great machine, love the top basin for soaking - but make sure you know this is latched, or it will hit your head if you are trying to pull clothes out! Overall, awesome machine. Will stick with Samsung for all our appliances from now on.
