Operator display hard to read Excellent machine overall, but it would be nice if the operator display were easier to read. With the black background and tan (?) Lettering, I would have expected a backlight. In medium to low light, legends are hard to read, unless you get within a few inches of the display.

Very pleased with this front loader I had the 2009 version of this washing machine and had to replace it due to a leak somewhere near the bottom. Didn't want to troubleshoot the leak since we have a 2nd floor laundry room and the washer owes us nothing. Purchased this right before Christmas and have been extremely pleased. I am amazed how much better this washer is than our previous LG. Our 2nd floor used to shake horribly when it would go in the spin/dry cycle. Not this new one, I thought it had shut off prematurely when it signaled with the Done Tone. I even threw in a stuffed load of laundry towels (hand towels, body towels and even a few beach towels). This really should have threw the balance off and same result - the shaking and vibrating was very minimal. Hats off to Home Depot delivery specialists for setting it up right and hats off to LG for making a better product

LG washer/dryer Basic review submitted for chance at $500. Lots of laundry to do in my house. I bought the extended warranty this time around. I’ve had good luck with this brand. Only time will tell how this combo holds up.

EXCELLENT MACHINE Have had washer and dryer for several weeks. They are excellent. Great replacement for 20 year old Sears machines.

We love our messages! We are enjoying that the washer lets us know when the cycle is finished. We often text each other at work to say hey go empty out the washer. The only issue we are having is that after every cycle even when we choose "cold wash" the clothes feel warm or hot. The washer says all rinses are in cold water but not sure mine is doing this.
