Product Overview

LG's combination washer/dryer is perfect if you don't have an external venting source, which conventional dryers require, and it runs on standard voltage electricity. Although it is a space-efficient laundry solution, ideal for locations where a separate washer and dryer wouldn't fit, the full-size tub (4.3 cu. ft.) means you won't be compromising on washing capacity. I love this machine! My husband and I have a small home, about 700 sq ft, and just had no room for a washer and a dryer. I found this machine and have never looked back! It is spacious inside without taking up too much floor space. I love that I can start it and don't have to worry about it for a couple of hours and when it's done it's dry and ready to go. Make sure you take it out sooner rather than later otherwise I have noticed a lot of wrinkling but that doesn't bother me much. Others are also confused about the lint and because it's an electric dryer and it doesn't have a vent the lint stays in the machine. Just wipe down the door and the seal every load just like you would empty out the lint trap, yes it is a bit harder and more annoying, but not that bad. Best solution for small spaces and families that don't have multiple loads everyday. (Not that you couldn't but it would be hard if you weren't home to change it mid day) I highly recommend!

Great machine for small houses I love, love, love this laundry machine! My clothes have never been cleaner or looked better after washing/drying them in this AMAZING machine! It may take longer to dry things, but it doesn’t damage the fabric like a traditional dryer! My absolute favorite thing besides all the different fabric settings and cycle options, is the happy little tune the machine plays to let you know your laundry’s done!

A Solution for Small Laundry Spaces I picked this model after a long search for a solution that would allow me to fit a large, full-sized washing machine in my condo's small laundry space. This unit lets me wash king-sized bedding in my little area, and it saves on energy, so I love it. Just be sure to read all the info you can on it, because it may not be the unit for everyone. The full wash and dry cycle can take hours, so it can be hard to do multiple loads if your habit is to do all the laundry in one day. If you prefer to throw in a load before heading to work and return home to clean dry, clothes, then this will work.

Great product Takes some getting used to as a typical wash and dry cycle is 2.5 hours. The advantage is when you put a load of dirty clothes in, it will come out washed clean and dried. No need to switch the load from one machine to another. Great when you turn on in the morning and leave for work. Key rule (same as conventional washer and dryer) is to sort clothes by cotton and non-cotton so you do not unbalance the load and damage the unit. Cotton absorbs more water than polyester, etc., so you can have different weights in the drum if you mix fabric, there by damaging the machine when spinning.

Works Exactly As Expected Our needs were very specific. 1. Our condo has a very small, built-in, closet space for laundry, we needed something that fit in there. 2. HOA rules prohibit venting outside our unit, so we needed something that could vent within the space. 3. We needed a washer with a large enough capacity to wash a king-sized comforter. This unit fulfilled all those needs. I've found the wash cycles to all be very quick and efficient, however, when adding in drying, that time does extend quite a bit. My usual habit is to throw a load in before I head to work, so this works nicely for me as it's done when I get home. I also prefer to hang dry as much as possible, so again, these cycles work really well for me. I can definitely see it being an adjustment for some, it would be really inconvenient for someone who typically washes and dries multiple loads in one day. I was specifically looking for a machine that met certain criteria while conforming to the way I already preferred to do laundry. This fits me perfectly!
