Good budget cook top. At first glance, this thing seems a bit nicer than it is. It looks good. It works well. But, it is a very thin wall metal compared to the higher end others. I learned this morning that if the boiling water puts the burner out, the gas continues to fill the room. My old one had a safety valve that would shut off the gas. If I were to buy another cook top, it would not be this one. I would step it up a bit and get one that is better built and has built in safety features. It does work well though. It does what it was built to do.
