Very easy intuitive controls
The hardest thing on some appliances is understanding the controls. Yours are just so easy even a pair of 80 year olds love them. Also love the dual door that acts like a chute for loading. I bought this because it was Consumer Reports top rated gas dryer and neither they or you disappointed us. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great first impression
After the first 12+ loads, I can say that I'm impressed. First of all, I'd gotten the impression from multiple sources that LG appliances aren't packaged well and frequently arrive with dents or other damage. Ours arrived in perfect condition. Then when I turned it on I was amazed at how quiet it is. All I can hear is a faint hum, the sound of the gas flame and the clothes flopping around in the drum. Other comments;
- The Easyload door is a nice extra, but hardly essential. It would be nice if it opened downward a little more.
- The standard settings guidelines don't always make sense, like why are shirts included with comforters and pillows in the Beddings setting? And why are sheets included in the Delicates setting?
- The Towels setting consistently leaves the towels damp. However, it's a simple button push to correct that.
- So far, the Reduce Static setting hasn't been necessary. Perhaps the stainless steel drum naturally discharges the static.
- The lint screen is easy to clean, but must be removed entirely to do so.

Very good but...
On the first run of the dryer the gas burner sounded like a blow torch, so we called for service. The tech said that this is how the burner should sound. Then the tech offered to reverse the door, which is a very complicated task, and he did it.
The 4 stars are because the signal at the end of drying is very weak. Also it is very difficult to see the text on the functions display: it is in dark gray over black background - a back-light is missing here.
There are features designed for LG Android smart phone but not for an Apple i-Phone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great product. Surprised at the number of cycles it can perform. These are a great help for drying various items.

Never knew I could love a dryer door so much!
My wife and I upgraded our 10+ year old LG washer and dryers with their latest generation units. The new W&D have been a joy to use and I seriously love the ease of use of the "backboard" dual function door on the dryer. Seriously, I know old dryers had the door that flopped down, but this one angles just so to allow you to drop the clothes in and they fall right into the drum. So helpful, as a 6'5" tall man, to have this ease of movement from W -> D.
Otherwise, the Steam Press cycle has saved my behind a few times over when I forgot to get the clothes out quickly and the finish on the unit is very slick... love the new LGs! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
