Great for the price I have been using my new dryer for over a month and I love the device so far. The only issue that I have to mention is that for some odd reason the energy saver mode will sometimes turn on and although I do like saving energy, more often then usual the dryer will end the cycle with still damp clothing. But other than this small hiccup it is a great dryer.

HAPPY WITH OUR LG GAS/LPG DRYER We installed our propane gas dryer in mid-November after converting it to propane/LPG from natural gas (as configured from the factory). We discussed back and forth on whether to switch to an electric dryer or stay with propane. Our utility room only has a propane dryer connection so we would have had to hire an electrician to install a 220V electrical outlet. It was less for the gas to propane conversion than to have a 220V electrical outlet installed. So, propane we went. We are very pleased with the LG propane dryer. Our previous washer/dryer set had a small capacity, but our new LG washer/dryer set easily handles large bedding articles and bulky clothing items. In addition, we have 2 sons that continue to bring their clothes home to launder. The LG set gets clothes cleaner, dries clothes better, and is definitely more energy-efficient. Our only complaint is that NOTHING is provided by LG to assist in either the propane conversion or the gas installation process (unlike the propane conversion kit that LG includes with their gas stoves). Be forewarned: you must buy a LPG converter orifice to replace the existing NG orifice that is installed the dryer if you want to use this dryer with propane fuel. You must also purchase a 3/8” NPT female-to-3/8” male flared brass fitting to install from the gas pipe on the back of the dryer to the LPG gas connector hose. The gas hose also does not come with the dryer, so you will also need to purchase this (with 3/8” fittings and ½” hose). Finally, you need some good thread sealant/pipe dope for all the threaded connections (do NOT used Teflon tape). NONE of these required products come with the dryer. After we bought it all and had the LPG orifice installed by a local appliance store, it came out to about $150 (even though we installed this dryer ourselves at home). Add this to the additional $100 that the dryer cost over LG’s electric model, it still came out barely cheaper than the $300 we would have had to spend to install a new 220V electrical outlet. All in all, we are very happy with our LG gas dryer (and washer) and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone considering it for purchase.

Drying Smoothly Our only complaint is the unit needs a pedestal for clearance from garage floor.The pedestal costs $249 not including delivery and installation.MAJOR SHOCK.We still love LG products.
