French Door Refrigerator When the refrigerator was delivered it showed up with dents in 2 of the doors. I contacted Best Buy and they immediately took care of it and ordered new doors and they sent a technician out to install. The refrigerator has performed flawlessly and it has a lot of space. I like the 3 levels in the freezer section to divide things up. the refrigerator area is large and LED lighting is bright. Overall the refrigerator is quiet with no issues

Beautiful Inside and Out I absolutely love this refrigerator. I’ve had it almost a year without any problems. I was surprised how much the freezer compartment holds. The overall design allows for maximum organization and storage.

I Love My New KitchenAid I have wanted this refrigerator for a while, however due to the cost along with not many reviews out there, I wasn’t sure if it was worth the cost or would stand up to the needs of my family. Well. it’s only been three weeks but we love this refrigerator. The extra drawers are great for separating foods and temperature . It holds up to the constant of the family and I’m told from a friend who has a KitchenAid that structurally it will hold up for years to come....

Almost gave it 4 Stars Except... We've now had this refrigerator for over a year, and have mixed feelings about it. Pros: The two drawers, ice and water in door, French Doors and Freezer drawer make it energy efficient since you don't have to open the entire fridge to access contents, The interior shelving is flexible allowing various adjustments. and the variety of compartments are handy if you like to compartmentalize different types of foods. Cons: There are two slight defects with this unit. The first is that the hinged door seal bar between the French doors doesn't fully retract, so when opening and closing the left door it smacks into the right door and you have to manually reach and retract it so that the door will close. The spring in this component appears to be too weak, and eventually we'll probably need to replace it. The second problem is with the door switches for the open-door alarm. if the door isn't completely and snugly closed, the switch doesn't engage and the alarm sounds after a couple of minutes. even though the door is closed and seals engaged. This switch is also the same one that controls the interior lights, so if it doesn't completely engage the lights stay on. I know what you're thinking- how can he know if the lights are still on with the doors closed? You can see if they are by opening the drawer compartment below the door These issues are obvious design oversights and the unit should be recalled or a fix offered. The other drawbacks that we've experienced are the the ice maker takes too long to make ice, and if you have dinner guests, a party or if you have a big family plan on making trips to the grocery to buy extra ice. The ice maker might be able to keep up if the ice bin was bigger, which is another drawback. For the capacity of the refrigerator the ice bin is small. It would also be beneficial if the door storage trays had more adjustment levels there are only a couple of usable levels for each tray, and the lower freezer would be better if the two lower bins could be combined into one. My complaints about the adjustments could easily be said about many newer style refrigerators as designers seem to be fond of compartmentalization to the detriment of allowing for larger spaces that often come in handy, say for a frozen turkey or such. Overall we like this refrigerator and it's aesthetics and function, but the designers still have some work to do. .

Great refrigerator and door concept The doors open separately so you limit cold loss. The freezer section is closed at the bottom to also prevent loss of cold air and there is great convenience in the two upper freezer shelves. I keep steaks and meats with standard cut into upper slider and bags of frozen vegetables in the next slider and roasts, chicken, etc in the bottom of the freezer. Just above the freezer is a temperature controlled drawer for defrosting your meats for next day cooking. There are several other settings on the same defrost drawer to suit it to other tasks. It’s nice having a ice maker/water dispenser again. My last refrigerator was a GE and it lasted half the life of the refrigerator. My last fridge the lighting quit about a month after I bought it new. My new Kitchen Aid has wonderful lighting absolutely everywhere, so bright nothing gets hidden. Wonderful product and well engineered.
