i love this cooktop
I've had it installed for about 3 weeks now and still love it. it lights quickly, cleans up easily, and is very solid. i especially like the grates because my pans sit very evenly on top. seems very professional but was available here at a great price.

Gorgeous and excellent performance
This is a gas cooktop at its best. After carefully researching all high end units we decided on the Dacor - 5 burners, simmer/sear burner, lighted knobs, well made. The grates are heavy, nice construction. We purchased the griddle for the middle burner as well. Love this unit. Precise temperature control; food cooks perfectly with no burning, splattering, etc. Highly recommend.

Excellent stove
The stove is of excellent quality and appearance. Even my husband, who uses a stove for reheating only, loves the temperature control and performance. Additionally, the large well captures spills and is very easy to clean. Love it.

Ideal Cooktop
We replaced an old GE cooktop with the Dacor DCT365S and couldn't be happier with the purchase. One of the primary reasons we purchased this unit was that you can buy a cooktop designed specifically for Propane operation. Our old one was converted from NG and never had a true Simmer on any of the burners. The appearance alone is a selling point. The continuous grate is such a great feature allowing you to slide a heavy pot/pan from one burner to another without having to lift it. And the burner selection is great for any cooking from two low output, simmer burners to two large output and finally the center burner that ranges from a low simmer to a dual flow that yields 12,000 btu! And the fact that it was assembled in the USA by a US company was a selling point as well.

Good cooktop
Our only complaint is even though there are 5 burners on this cooktop, would be hard to use more than one per side if using average size pots and pans. The ones on the sides are too close together. This is because the knobs are across the front and this takes up room for the grates. Might be better if they were in a cluster in the front center leaving room on the outside for more separation and larger pans. One of the indicator lights did not work upon installation but contacted Dacor and they sent someone out. Now wishing we would have bought the rangetop.
