This dishwasher is so quiet and efficient I purchased this dishwasher as a replacement for one that was still working . The previous one was so loud we had to increase the volume on our tv when it was running. This Bosch is quieter, has a greater capacity and has more versatility in loading dishes. I read previous reviews and was concerned about the odor issue. Mine does have an odor but I am hoping it dissipates with continued use. I will be purchasing more Bosch products for my kitchen. Quiet, space saving, cleans perfectly This machine made extra drawer space in my small valley kitchen. It’s super quiet so I run it while we chat and don’t know it’s there. The separate tray for flatware is wonderful. The machine holds 8 place settings easily. My only negative is that I leave the door closed when wet it can develop a moldy smell. If I leave the door propped open when wet stuff is newly loaded that doesn’t happen. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Amazing Dishwasher We needed a new dishwasher and decided to purchase a built in to replace our portable unit. The issue was space as we didn’t have much in our 70’s kitchen. This 18” unit was perfect to install in our tight space. The unit is very quiet and clean incredibly well and holds an amazing amount of dishes with the added silverware top drawer/tray.
