Is it the dishwasher or my plumbing I’ve had this dishwasher for a few months now and have several issues. The dishes don’t get clean all the time, which I guess could be because of my plumbing. Maybe the water pressure isn’t good enough, but I had a plumber come out and fix that so I think it’s the machine. Also, even with the high temp dry, my dishes still come out wet and have puddles on top of cups. My water usage has gone up quite a bit too since getting this dishwasher. The normal cycle runs 2.5 hours. If I choose the quick wash (1.5 hrs) It won’t allow extra hot water setting. And finally, another annoying feature, the dishwasher stops running if you use the garbage disposal. It took me a few times with this happening before I realized it. Otherwise, the dishwasher just pauses and the water sits.

Dishwasher of the Gods After purchasing a previous dishwasher that, for reasons I was unable to determine, decided to give its life up, I was in a bad situation, as the grandson was on strike for higher wages and more candy, and didn't want to wash dishes by hand. Thus, my spouse and I, with said grandson in tow, returned to Best Buy with our tail of woe and the need for a new dishwasher. After much searching, meaning we looked at three or four dishwashers that would have been excellent purchases if we were as wealthy as, say, most movie stars, we noticed two dishwashers sitting off by themselves, perhaps being punished for not being in a box. The dishwasher that we chose was the wittier of the pair, making much better dirty (dish) jokes as we discussed the practical applications of getting the dishwasher to the house. It was finally silenced with a heavy layer of super bubble wrap and plastic wrap, but we could hear it struggling to speak all the way home. This dishwasher has given, so far, excellent service, despite my grandson's predilection for loading it so that it resembles a clown car of dirty dishes. In fact, the Dirty Dish Gods are as pleased with this dishwasher as I am, and have made it one of the quietest (yeah, it shut up after it was installed) dishwashers I have ever owned. It is also one of the fastest. While I am not pleased that the first dishwasher decided to figuratively leap off a cliff, I am glad that we found this one on a great sale, with a great warranty, in a store that has wonderful customer service and sales people.

So far so good :-) We purchased this as an open box (missing pieces) and got a really good deal. As we were looking to replace all our appliances for a kitchen remodel but we didn't want to break the bank. We had a budget in mind we were looking at units up to about $400.00. our salesman was recommending a different unit in our budget but we happened to see this one as an open box as it was priced originally at $629 but lowered down to $377 I asked the salesman what was missing or damaged. It appeared to have no damage and only missing the clips that hold it in place under the counter top. I knew that they could be ordered online easily for less than $10.00 so why not buy and try it.. We ended up getting this dishwasher and getting an extra 10% off because we purchased as part of a set of 4 appliances thus saving $300.00 off the regular price. I installed it after the clips arrived and it's not given us any trouble so far after about a month's use. It's remarkably quieter than our old dishwasher. I love the adjustable upper rack and because it all stainless steel inside it just appears to be of a higher quality than our old unit that was plastic on the inside. Our dishes are clean.. so I guess it's working :-)
