36 inch Rangetop PCG364NL The cook top burners are excellent but I have an issue with the grill. The briquettes provided for maintaining even heating are to be put below the heating elements in a tray. The depth of the tray to the heating element does not provide enough room for the briquettes and the heating element does not lie flat. This does not allow the top grill plates to lie flat. Being a new unit line, the service rep had no solution to this issue. My solution was to take a hammer to the briquettes on the garage floor fracturing them into 3 or 4 pieces. Place the pieces in the tray and all is well. I hope Thermador engineers will acknowledge their error and fix this.

Great Cooktop I put this cooktop in my home when I built it 5 years ago. I loved everything about it. Works flawlessly. Love the griddle and love the ultra-low burners that turn themselves on and off. I sold that house and am now going to buy this exact same cooktop. I've looked at all the alternatives, and yes this one is about $500 more, but I know from experience its worth it!
