Reliable I needed a replacement for a failed unit and after a horrible expereince with another manufacturer's product (not GE) I purchased this model. I have been very pleased with the unit. It functions great and is quiet. I love the ice-maker and crusher unit. The one Issue I have is the design of the door pockets. I would prefer to have more space utilized, and the plastic is a bit bulky and takes up space. But overall, I would recommend this refrigerator.

Quiet and reliable. We have had the refrigerator for one month. No mechanical quirks. Nice storage and makes ice cubes consistently. One question is removing the packing shrink wrap “residue”. There is a film that can be removed with acetone (yikes) that looks like an oily coating. This may be a packaging and product prep concern. Have removed some of it yet am hesitant on using acetone on a painted surface.

Very Nice Upgrade We had to replace our old top freezer/refrigerator but we were limited to a space 33 inches wide. We looked at this model and were pleased to see that it fit in the same space but gave us an additional 2 cubic feet of storage. The LED lighting is excellent and the door mounted ice/water dispenser is really convenient. Their appears to be much more flexibility in storage configurations and the having actual freeze/refrigerator temperature displays on the door mounted control panel takes the guesswork for adjusting temperature controls. We looked at similar priced side by side models for several other top brands before settling on this model from GE. We are both very happy with our decision.
